Legislative elections in Mali

Mali will hold the first round of its legislative elections on November 24, while the second round will be heldon December 15.

Currently, the National Assembly has 15 women parliamentarians of a total of 147 members (representing 10.20%).

These legislative elections were originally planned to be held on July 2012, but were postponed after a coup d’état. On August 11 of this year, Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta was elected as the president of Mali.
